Turn to page 1529 to review the chronology of Luther and the Bible.

Turn to page 1923 and read Ephesians 2:5-10.  Highlight or underline verses 8-9.  Read the first two notes in the margin on page 1923.

Open Luther’s Small Catechism app on your phone.  Open “The Apostles’ Creed.”  Scroll down to “The Third Article” and read what Martin Luther says this means.

Martin Luther said, “The church must always reform.”

To stay faithful to the gospel, the church still depends on all its members to call it back, not to their own personal visions, but to Jesus’ vision.

Answer the following questions in a few sentences by replying to this Blog post.

What are some things that the church does differently today compared to years past?  How can you explain this change as “always reforming the church?”

One of the differences today from years ago is that people went to church more frequently than today. Nowadays with everyone’s busy schedule that would be hard to do.
