Prayer of blessing
O God,
You revealed your Son to all people by the shining light of a star.
We pray that you bless this home and all who live here with your gracious presence. May your love be our inspiration, your wisdom our guide, your truth our light, and your peace our benediction; through Christ our Lord. Amen.

ReplyDelete1. Worship is an offering to God. Going to church every sunday is giving your presence as an offering.
2. I think that the word refers to God's teaching. Keeping it holy would be preserving God's word. The word is important to hear every sunday because God's teachings are important.
3. The words in Corinthians 3:15 -17 all describe things we can see happening in church, the place where we worship. Outside of the church, verse 17 tells us that if we do everything for the Lord, we give thanks to God The Father.
